3essentials is definitely one of the top web hosting businesses out there. They have 3 very key things that I look for which makes them such a great company. First, they are very serious about security. To explain, I could have accessed their database through a user-friendly web program they had written. But, as a programmer, I wanted to gain direct access to their MSSQL database from my desktop, which in my case was on a shared server. To do so, I had to specifically request this and was only granted access using a secure channel using bitvise tunnelier software. Furthermore, in trying to connect, I had too many login attempts which blocked my IP address. Some people would probably be annoyed by such an experience. However, this only demonstrated to me that my data is very secure. Secondly, there is a knowledgebase, which is a documentation of problems other users have had and how to resolve these common problems - very helpful. Thirdly, customer support is excellent. I have used all channels of communication to resolve any issues I have had. I have called, used live chat and submitted tickets through their support department. Customer support is always available day or night. And they have handled my problems immediately and professionally...

I was skeptical at first in letting someone else manage the setup and infrastructure but once I decided to use 3 Essentials, the time from when I committed the order to when I was able to begin site design was less then 24 hours - and it was a weekend. So instead of me working during that time, wrestling with install packages and configurations, I spent the time speed-coding the new site and building the charter. Well worth the time and investment - for semiprofessionals I would (and have) recommend my cohorts to do a deep dive and see if 3 Essentials meets their goals. They met mine and so far I am satisfied.

Last week we migrated our .NET site to 3essentials, and your support reps made it as easy as such a thing can be. They don't stop with yes/no answers; instead they address the issue and seek to solve it. And where our old host loved to take simple questions and escalate them into tickets, your reps almost always solve the problem right there on the phone or in the chat. They are greatly appreciated.

After 3 gruelling weeks trying unsuccessfully to set up our small but critical website with unresponsive email-only support from WinHost, we switched to 3Essentials. No canned responses here. Such a contrast. Within a few hours spread over 2 days, the site was up and running faster than at WinHost. The support team worked through the myriad config issues (among many others!) with unfailing politeness, patience, professionalism, and downright Helpfulness in every case - as did sales. We are relieved and delighted to be associated with this host!

I have a number of web sites spread among several web hosting companies. I've been wanting to consolidate the sites in once place, and that's going to be 3Essentials. I haven't noticed any down time, as I have with others; the pricing on multiple domains is great; the response time on support requests has been far better than I've had with others; the Plesk control panel makes it much easier to do things myself, and the deal-maker for me was the amount of spam that *doesn't* get through before I apply my own filters, compared to the onslaught I was getting at my last host. I've been on 3Essentials for six months now with no complaints or problems, and excellent fast technical support when I run into my own ignorance, so I'm starting to move my other sites over.

The customer support was super fast. It took 17 minutes from the time I submitted a support ticket until I got the notification that the changes had been made exactly as I'd asked. They also wanted me to verify the changes on my end. That tells me that they are dedicated to my complete satisfaction.

There customer service is incredible. As a result of some initial difficulties with my setup, the customer service manager took it upon himself to help me step by step, even though the problem did not seem to be directly related to the 3essentials setup. He has been available what seems to me to be 24/7 (evenings, weekends, all hours) and never flagged in his willingness to help no matter how goofy or obscure the problem. I'm sure they spent the pittance they get from me in a year in the first month of service. I can't imagine why anyone would use any other host.

Being a self-funded start up company I decided to attempt my hand at building my own website. Once that was accomplished (somewhat anyway), my next step was to locate a hosting company. This company (3essentials.com) had an extremely low downtime rating and offered pretty much the most bang for the buck.

While those two items are obviously important (and have remained true for the last 6 months), I also discovered that support is another extremely important component that should be taken into consideration. As with the other two, 3E has done an excellent job in helping me out with my site. My questions are answered immediately via "live chat" or in the rare event that they are tied up, I usually receive an email response within five minutes. In addition, their responses are in layman's terms which is nice for someone who, for the most part, doesn't really have a clue what they are doing! lol.

Seriously, I really can't recommend them enough.

Great service right from the start.
Sales came online promptly with chat system and answered all my questions with clear and precise answers.
Signup was straight forward with response emails as to status of signup and prompt account activation. Clear instructions for logging in to my account. I was able to login and setup my hosting with no questions. Integrated webmail is a sweet system.
I submitted a simple support ticket with low priority on something I messed up. It was dealt with in short order.

I had a couple of issues with setting up a shareware program. Both were handled quikly and efficently by Art and possibly others.
He had to set up some permissions - wonder if that shouldn't have been done when the site was created?

A quick guide of common functions in the control panel and how to get to the functions would be useful for new customers that may be unfamiliar with it.

This was my very first time getting a host, and it was definately a positive one. Their support team is really awsome!! I have had nothing but positive experiences with 3essentials hosting. The few times I have had to open tickets with support they have always responded quickly and effeciently to resolve the issue. Only one minor outage I can remember in my first year and it was explained fully as to what occurred. I have recommended 3essentials to others and will continue to do so. All I can say is WOW! I have accounts with multiple companies and decided to try 3essentials because of the feedback. At first it was a bit confusing, not because of the product but because most companies to not give you so many options! Once you sit down and look at what is available it is very simple. I did have one mysql question that I contacted tech support[Rich] via email. Finally people who can answer my question. He even corrected my code mistake and tested it before he emailed me back. How cool is that! By the end of the month i will be moving my 7 other sites to 3Essentials. oh did i mention my question was answered in less than an hour! Thanks Rich!

This has been my first experience with web hosting. The problems I experienced overlapped into several areas as I encountered both technical and software issues. The 3essentials technical support team stayed with me right through to resolution,although not all the issues were technical. They never tried to distance themselves from the problems although it had to be obvious to them that some problems were due to inexperience. To cap the service offered, they produced a tailor-made tutorial which guided me to a successful conclusion. I am sure not many companies would be prepared to go that extra mile....

This site was more than I bargained for. They have tutorials and a knowledge base that I used to set up my site. They are using the latest PLESK software. The one little problem that I had was fixed within 24 hours. I am a very satisfied customer. And the price was fantastic! I do rate them right at the top.

Your support team is incredible! Yes, when I log an issue I get the canned, automated email telling me that the issue is being looked at and I'll hear from somebody shortly. All site do that, but yours actually delivers. Generally within a couple of minutes I get a detailed email back from a technition asking for the remaining details he/she needs to give me an answer. The technition drives to the answer fairly quickly and is always curteous! Thank you.

Technical support is outstanding. They address issues immediately and put in a continuous effort to resolve problems. They were in touch on almost an hourly basis over the New Year's holiday weekend, all day and in the wee hours of the night, until an issue was resolved.
